I'm trying to remember a term: multiplicative effect? additive effect?

Featured Replies

Supposedly there are terms that relate to how drugs work and the emphasis of their effectiveness when mixed with something else.

So, let's say I take one drug and another: these cause the effects to be twice as strong. (additive effect, right?)

And let's say I take drug y and drug x: drug x causes the effect to triple: multiplicative effect, right?

I think there are terms for these effects, but I think I have the terms wrong. I cannot really remember what the terms are, but I use to know.
