you talking about hentai or anime hehe. i say BOTH.

Hentai generally gets repetitive after a while, both in terms of animation (eg. same thing looped 5 six times) and in terms of plot.

but anime is really good. if u like hentai, then u will like anime, cos they got loads of hots chick, in short skirts and such, and at least leave something to your imagination.

Anime I would Recommend

Cowboy Bebop (The best out there IMO)

Hellsing (strangely located in England)

They're forken cartoons. Go outside and meet some REAL girls. Maybe they'll be wearing short skirts too. Happy day. I choose humans over that damn television anyday. . . . except sometimes i dont cause i'm a lazy idiot, but life over machines is my true preference.

Well, I Have been married for the past 4 years.....Does that count for the "human" interraction?

Anime and Hentai are still cool :D

I've caught Cowboy Bebop on tv a few times and the experience of it was craptastic, I'm afraid.

Akira was a bit better but still sucked IMO.

Ranma 1/2 was much better(although I've only seen one episode of that) Anything else that you find is very good out there?

excuse me i live in an area where most everyone i know is the same religion, and if not their standards don't vary that far--- so i forget the weird way people outside of this place live.

so even though its established that on average, i'm the weird one, however i'm going to ask :

I'm confused how your wife is OK with you being into those things, and two why are you into them? isn't your wife enough action for you? I don't mean that to outrule any not marital related entertainment, but since anime and hentai are sexually related (in my world sex in all senses is supposed to be specifically only between the couple)----- i don't quite see how it that reconciles with devotion to your wife.

I swear i'm not critisizing you, just saying in my realm of knowledge thats a very strange situation, so that's why i inquire.

That is part of the problem you have there.

Small area.

All are religious.

All(or most people) know each other.

She's more then enough for me(sometimes I think I was insane for getting married at 20, but that's a whole other story)

She's quite alright with me watching that stuff and usually joins me. Sometimes she encourages me to watch that stuff(mainly during that uhm 'special' week each month). Most couples I know, do watch some kind of pornography every once in a while and in most cases it seems to strengthen their relationship. (None of this is counting the movies/shows you see on like HBO or DVD's : eg: Eyes Wide Shut)

Historically, I've never had problems where my female companion had a problem with this kind of stuff. Like I said in one of the threads here somewhere that one of my girlfriends was bisexual.

Interesting . . . .

By the way there are a lot of people here that I like, it's not really that small of an area, its just dominated by one religion that is centered around Salt Lake City. 11 million members worldwide, not too small. Anyway though, yeah it does result into a lot of fanatics which kinda sucks. But i can always keep hoping people will stop being stupid.

The dubs are hideous, but the series is the best thing out there.

Akira is good for the first 2/3, then goes downhill.

Ranma is a one joke series (this is from someone who owns all of it on DVD).

Excel Saga and Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu are funny, but you generally have to be experienced with the standard forms of anime to get much enjoyment out of them.

Hellsing is fantastic (and I bought the manga yesterday).

Trigun and Rurouni Kenshin are very good as well.

Flames of Recca I thought was reasonable, but not great.

Am I the only person that doesn't[/i'] like anime?

I see it as another valid medium; I don't watch them because its japanese kawaii ^_^_^_^, I watch it because it's entertaining. You may as just say that you don't like cinema, which is another heavily stylised 'group', with just as much variation.

No Dave, in fact i just about hate anime. I think it's incredibly stupid and uncreative. Few acceptions. I've watched very little cowboy bebop, it hasn't really interested me.

good point tho jakiri. sometimes we're (including me) just blind to the idiocy particular styles we do support for some reason. Maybe i'll give more consideration to anime someday. It's not a priority though.
