Do the electromechanical microwaves sent to a sattelite travel at the speed of sound or the speed of light?

That of light.. Since microwaves also is Electromagneticwaves/radiation like light! but only at different frequencies!

yes it is indeed the speed of light...the fastest speed known to man ;)

 

not the fastest speed known, just the fastes speed possible. :D

On a technicality, anything greater than 3.0x108 is known to be faster but, as of now, unnatainable.
