Well, over here he's made out to be some kind of English demi-god for you, so the fact that he missed a goal of such magnitude (whether it's his fault or not) just seems ironic to both sides.

Yeah, I'm certainly not defending the way he's portrayed over here, because it simply isn't true. But on the other hand, he's definately not on form and can play a lot better than how he has been playing over the past couple of weeks.
