Fun idea. They basically project the game onto a big board, on which are attached some accelerometers, which they use triangulate the point of impact using LabVIEW.

Also, it appears they are here in Austin. I've drank countless beers under that bridge they showed at the beginning when I was in college. In fact, I hooked up with one of my girlfriends there for the first time (she later became a stripper). Ah... good times.

 

I'll have to look those guys up. :)
