i was actually confused for a few seconds.

I just tried it, it didn`t work I used 37 as my starting number.

 

I tried a few times without any number, it just gave random glyphs but mostly the cressant moon with the star like a chinese flag (I think?).

That's a fairly obvious trick.

aha, it was my dreadfull maths, well whatever symbol 27 is will be the next to appear as will some others are there`s not many combinations left when the calc is done

The symbols on the list change every time so that any number you choose will land on the same symbol.

but you`ll note the numbers where it gets them right are a factor of 9, IE/ 27 and 54.

 

the symbols change sure, but look at the symbol by #27 and click the ball, that will be the next one always, same with #54 (double 27), I expect that #9 will be the same too.

the same symbol will be added to other non factor 9 numbers at random also, but that`s just to confuse you
