Science project

Featured Replies

Hi, just wanted to share my new science project which is underway... making a video for EVERY element on the periodic table.

I've filmed most of them, just have a big editing job to do now! As you can see, 10 down and about 108 to go.

Trying to encourage anyone with an interest to subscribe to the YouTube channel so they can see each one as its posted... it's free and easy, just helps me let people know as each one is done.

Cheers for reading. Any feedback more than welcome!

PS: I'll pop the table into the "periodic table forum" here when it's finished, just wanted to show you guys in its infancy!

Very interesting. Are you going to string them all to gather when your done or leave them as individuals?

Very cool. Keep it up. I think francium will be VERY interesting:eyebrow:

From wiki

Francium is extremely rare, with trace amounts found in uranium and thorium ores, where the isotope francium-223 continually forms and decays. As little as 30 g (one ounce) exists at any given time throughout the Earth's crust; the other isotopes are entirely synthetic.

but i guess you weren't going to try for that right? ;)

Wonderful! I will use these in my teaching. Kids love the sheer excitement of Chemistry. Well done mate. Funny and informative. Now, if only teaching was like that!
