fafalone Posted October 15, 2002 Share Posted October 15, 2002 NewScientist is reporting new research being presented today at the American Society of Anesthesiologists which found the redheads typically require 20 percent more anesthesia before sensations of pain are not present, this is possibly related to the presense of the chemical melanocortin in the brain. I remember an early Star Trek where Scotty drinks with, (I think it was a Romulan) until the guy passed out. Then Scotty went about his business. I guess in the sixties they already new about redheads. What scares me is the paralysis drug they use so if your not fully under you can't tell them to crank it up.
