I'm doing a project in my physics course and I'm wondering if you can provide some resources for my research. My particular project is about computers and how electromagnetic principles apply to them. In particular, I'm looking into the CPU, circuit boards, Do you guys know of any good resources out there online?

This isn't so much a resource that you can use for your project, but I've always loved this film called Silicon Run which shows how chips are made. It's about 45 minutes long, and available at the link below:

Have you considered investigating the hard drives as well... I do research in magnetic materials using photonics for use in hard drive development...

I would think that any textbook for computer engineering and/or electrical engineering would be chock full of information like you are looking for. I am sure any well-stocked university library would have several to choose from.
