YouTube Dangerous for Children

If they are following the rules, why should they be banned? If they aren't following the rules, process them however you process anyone breaking the rules.

The emergence of pedophiliiac behavior is representative of the decreasing emotional health and increasing neuroses specific to sexuality which are closely linked to the way our society has shapen itself to have less physical contact, physical activity, and stresses when seeking food and shelter. Changing access or content to a video site like YouTube will do nothing to ameliorate the root of the issue, which is (in my mind) a malalignment between the society in which we evolved and the society in which we find ourselves currently.

The proposal above is not a solution, but a reaction which (in my mind) holds little merit or relevance to the issue described. Find a solution to the root of the issue.

Now, if only I had written better sentences above. Time for more coffee. Sorry 'bout that.

Letting your children use YouTube is no more dangerous than allowing them to play in the street. They will recognise and respond to the relevant dangers only as well as they are taught to do so.
