98.4% of woman don't use the net for anything more than video games and pornography.

Featured Replies

I think this is a valid and well thought out opinion.

Discuss.

the point of this thread is???

secondly, where did you find such a stat?

I too would like to know where you found this information, alt_f13. If this is really true, I must be in the other 1.6% of women, then.

I'm almost afraid to ask what the majority of men use the Internet for.

If this is true...I'm among the 1.6% too, unless you consider finding information about methane as pornography (well, I guess methane is sexy enough, heh).

And to answer YT:

This thread was part of an in-depth look into the human behavioral system, mainly used for observing how people react when faced with a controversial, provocative suggestion.  ie, I was pulling your legs.

fair enough :)

and so, what did you learn from this as you`ve just given the game away and therefore biased any likely further results? ;)

In that case you should have replied with another controversial comment.

I think you don't really know what you're talking about. I think that information is completely false and where ever you got that information was a messed up site.

I've learned that many people would assume a number with a percentage sign after it is a statistic, when I clearly wrote "opinion" and "well thought out" in the same post.  I did actually want to see what would happen there, and was kindof surprised that noone said anything.

Why do you think that is?

Opinion isn't a surprising word on the internet, because peoples English can be really bad. You get used to foreign people using bad English. The percent sign creates a statistic as soon as you think of it as a definition of the truth. If it's not true, then you expect the kind of responses that were posted. Really, this test of human character was pointless anyway, because the responses were 98.4% expected. LOL!

Pincho.

This thread sucks.. I think it should be deleted.

Come to think of it... I'm pretty sure I was drunk for both of the first two posts. (I emphasise both because it was two separate incidences.)

This thread was part of an in-depth look into the human behavioral system

Your own behaviour is most interesting. You posted a drunken statement, and then felt that you had to cover your mistake up. You then felt attacked personally by the responses, and so responded with the.."I was drunk!" If you are truly interested in human behaviour, then you should study that situation. It is to do with self-esteem.

Haha, I felt no such thing.  It was no mistake.  It was just really funny to me. ;)  Still is.  98.4% of woman using the internet for things generally associated with male behavior?  It's rather witty if you ask me.

Point of interest though:  I did feel attacked personally with your last post as it was completely false and felt I had to rectify the situation.

 [edit]

And you'll probly notice every post of mine in this thread up till now has been a joke.  The most recent being "This thread sucks.  I think it should be deleted."  It is clearly my thread and it is ironic that I should want for my own thread to be deleted.

Oh, and why exactly did you think I felt personally attacked?  I don't know how that would have come accross...

I really hope this is the sort of response you were after?

statisticly speaking that is LOL :)

Ahhhh. There was never any sort of study or anything. Ahhhh.

I was just blowing smoke!!! Ahhhhh.

in that case you`ll not mind if I remove this thread will you? :)
