I have been selected to Govorners honors, and i have to have an experiment to bring. Does anyone have any useful ideas to blow them away?

that's not cool. I didn't mean in the perverted sense. Anyway, I have to do it on the environment, so if anyone has good info, let me know please.

how about demonstrating the Nitrogen cycle, you could even make your own lightening generator to make the NOx gasses.

have a few plants in there and stuff, maybe use 2 tanks one with the lightening and one without, plot the growth diferential

NO can be used sure, but NOx like nitrogen dioxide (the brownish gas used in nitric acid manufacturing) would be the one most likely produced and best for plants at low concentrations.

as for the plants, I`de use beans, they`re quite fast to germinate and they absorb nitrogen from the air, and as the plant expires that nitrogen is passed onto the soil in the fowm of decomposing organic matter.

YT is on about the nitrogen cycle. if your taking environmental studies or chem, it`ll be in your text book somewhere, I`m sure of it
