Fastest Run Speed

what is the maxium running speed of superman without breaking the laws of physics

considering he can lift 100 tons his legs are about a 110 cm long and his joints have super fluids

i found this equation

velocity=cadence x stride length

cadence=how many steps you take

stride=how big steps are

hope some 1 can figure out how fast he can run

well, he's supposed to be able to run faster than a speeding bullet

and in one of the movies he travels faster than light

so i suppose the answer would be: infinitely close to the speed of light... even though that also breaks the laws of physics since he would just jump off earth if he ran that fast...

heck, it might not even be possible to run faster than a speeding bullet.

of course he could always do what the people do in anime shows, jump horizontally (like, completely horizontally, body and everything). in that case, he could go just fast enough to orbit earth and inch above ground level. and if he went a bit slower he could be sort of running.

A person with legs 1 m long should have a maximum speed of 4.02 m/s (or 8.98 miles per hour), so times that by 1.1, and then find out the maximum that a human can lift, put that into a ratio with your 100tons and times by m/s. Gl
