Cutting Up Quick Time Videos

Featured Replies

I have a video in quick time format which I need to edit by cutting bits out. Do any of you know a program I can use to do this?

I usually use Windows movie maker for editing. I'm not sure if you can edit quick time videos in that, though. What's the extention of a quick time movie? .mov, right?

You may be able to find some decent open source software if you don't have Windows movie maker on your computer already.

Yea, but it's a good program.

Any Windows XP should have movie maker, check accessories or just under programs.

Aha so I do my mistake, I'll give that a try then.

I found this on sourceforge... I haven't read any reviews though. And I'm not sure .mov files will work. You may have to get a file converter as well.
