Ps - in keping with the thread, I recently re-read James Herbert's "Others" (a very well-written but truly sick chiller), and I am currently reading Thomas Keneally's "Schindler's Ark".

 

DBC Pierre's "Vernon God Little" is next I think :P

Speacking of which, I know many of you guys recommend Brian Greene's Elegant Universe book, but any thoughts on his The Fabric of the Cosmos?
