If the cost of aerogels or carbon nanotubes dropped, we wouldn't need hybrid cars. Cars would be so light, they'd hardly use any fuel.

Are you thinking structures, or fuel or energy storage?

Can they be used to conjunction with electric generators that create occational HV sparks instead of smooth electristy such as that water based one that works by pouring the water though the two metal cylinders into buckets to store the bursts of HV and reslease them as usefull electrisity?
