I found a link to this the other day, I think there was a link on Mastodon to a press report, so I looked up some more useful info. However what I found interesting about the diagram is it shows s,c,u,d quarks but no top / bottom quarks.

How do others interpret the absence of top and bottom quarks., I guess the fact that Up / Down quarks are there, is important as these make up protons (udd) and neutrons (ddu).

I think this is just meant as a rough schematic. But regardless, top and bottom quarks don’t contribute to ordinary stable nucleons, as all their bound states are highly unstable.
