It's the same as the old Mozilla. It's just that the Mozilla Foundation dumped it in favor of Firefox, and so an independent group is developing it.

 

They didn't "dump" it, the plan was always to develop individule applications and seace dev of the mozilla suite, although moz are supporting the independent continued development of it...
