since matter and energy are different forms of the same thing, if you have infinite mass, you will have infinite energy. he didn't say anything about how much mass there is.

E and m are definite numbers and cannot be infinite unless the other is. The equation just states that energy and mass are related with the square of c as a factor.

If that's the case then it will only use the energy required to accelerate it to a constant velocity.
