What Do the Icons on the Far Left of the Threads Mean?

I noticed there are icons on the very far left of all the threads. What do these mean? There are blue envelopes, orange envelopes, orange envelopes with arrows, and a few others.

it tells you if the topic is active, if you have postd in it, and if it has been moved. if you scroll to the bottom of a forum, there should be a key to the icons.
