Honestly, all of these problems are tiny considering the sun is going to become a red giant and cook everything anyway.  So far, I know of no effort by humanity to address the issue.

Yeah, we've only got 4.5 billion years left...better get a move on. I think I''ll just procrastinate and let somebody else worry about it.   :)
