stopping ferrofluid efh1 from staining

Hi,

Just wonder if anyone has an idea of stopping ferrofluid(efh1 series) from staining glass...

Please help ASAP

Might try water proofing spray.

I've seen ferrofluid used in a clock, not sure how it was done though.
