Toshiba advances deep learning with extremely low power neuromorphic processor

Toshiba Corporation continues to build on its commitment to promoting the Internet of Things and Big Data analysis with development of a Time Domain Neural Network (TDNN) that sues an extremely low power consumption neuromorphic semiconductor circuit to perform processing for Deep Learning.

This type of processing component will power deep learning servers, increase their computing power, and accelerate the use of strong AI. This Toshiba part is similar to a previous component, but uses 1/6 the power.
