  1. Yep… If I have any off the wall ideas I usually like to post them …not so I can be credited with them if they prove correct ..but just in case someone is working away in a lab somewhere and just needs one small missing piece to a puzzle (that my obscure observation may enable them to connect).
  2. This one goes to human nature. Salesman rings doorbell of house in rich part of town. It's evening, and a 12 year old boy answers the door dressed in a dressing gown with a large glass of Whiskey and Ice in one hand and an expensive Cigar alight in the other. Salesman: “Excuse me young man , is your father home?” Boy: Does it F****ing look like it?
  3. Ok ….so we have at least two other agents acting on the chromosome. The proteins and the dyes. How can we tell what effect they have on the banding? I’m just trying to figure out how untainted the final visual data is.
  4. I’m well with you on that one, but don’t forget dolphins and sharks ( look at the tails) and spiders and insects ( count the legs ). Mother nature will allow convergence to exploit a resource.
  5. They look neat . kind of like snakes or monarch caterpillars. Do the bands spread out because they are centrifuged to weight? or do they creep apart under some sort of chemical reaction to a catalytic agent? I mean what exactly is it that we are banking on here? Ps the ERV insertion stats would be normalised if like a jigsaw puzzle piece they could only fit in one place. Ps the narrowing sections on the strands, are they fusion for sure?
