  1. I was getting bad runner's knee and eventually realized that my Nike REAX needed replacement having, 400+ miles on them. Runner's don't prefer Nike, but I read this si partly because they are neutral shoes. My wear indicated supination rather than overpronation, but regardless Adidas Cloudfoam Race was the best deal and fit.

That's what I heard, but I've also heard that newer research points to the importance of load-bearing exercise to building or maintaining bone density. Cycling only does this at low RPM pedaling in a high gear. Running should do build bone density, at least if you have good form.

I was a long-time cyclist commuter. I intended to build a 10-speed bicycle with the Shimano Ultegra crankset (52 teeth on the larger cog), a very fast bike. Things happen and now I'm selling those parts on Ebay to pay bills.

I've got a single 52 cog chainwheel. It's a 7 speed with Shimano Mega low freewheel. The lowest gear is my'hill gear'- 10 teeth more than 2nd. I rarely get over 4th gear unless I want to put some pressure on my legs. I buy Chinese stuff - it's about a third less than here. They are Chinese originals not copies of US/ European makes.
