  1. I think this depends on your view on faster then light speeds and if they're attainable too. If you think you can't go faster then light then any large number above 300'000 is fine but if you think you can go faster then light then it has to remain 300'000.
  2. I'm yaik7a, my first name is Dustin. I'm still in High School but I have always taken a huge interest in science from a young age, but in particular physics today. I joined the forum so I could discuss and present or future theories or hypothesis with intelligent people or even add my own insight or knowledge to their own. My biggest interests in Physics would probably be Nuclear and Quantum and I plan on studying them in university.
  3. I was wondering if any of you knew about any recent studies on QHD and their results. Also I have been reading about superfluid, and wondering if it is possible to create artificial superfluid that would have productive uses ( I could really only think about self applying lubricant). Would this hypothetical superfluid be expensive or too unstable?
  4. For one you're implying that life other then us exists, which is probably true but not empirical because it has not been proven. 2nd you implied that said life has to be intelligent and using standard earth radio/radar system, odds are if they do have technology it's probably developed from an entirely different path then ours. 3rd you implied that the possibly intelligent life has to be looking for us, what if they're religious manics or a race of warlords or a puddle of sentient bacteria. Please don't make assumptions about life other then our own. Also owing to the immense size of the universe and the far larger size of any multiverse that could exist, it most likely means that radiowaves interference is impossible. You really need to think about the true vastness of space though.
  5. I don't think the universe can simply gain energy, correct me if I'm wrong though.
  6. I'd just like to add that Anti-Matter Matter collusion has been experimented with since the 30's I believe, however mostly in the field of Positron Electron Collusion though, I would love to see more research devoted to non balanced AMM collisions like a Anti Proton with an a electron which would require a super collider of course or more research into a "cold" collusion.
