Maybe Troodon was a really smart dinosaur. I might not have known.

I've sometimes wondered what would happen if human beings were reptilian instead of primates.
Then I looked into the hypothetical humanoid descendant of a particular dinosaur.
But Troodon? Why did they pick that dinosaur in particular? How would it have been the best candidate to evolve into the hypothetical lizard man I mentioned?

Now I wanna see these things racing.

Okay, then how would a plane perform if it had a wingspan of 10 feet, body length 8.5 feet, had a small jet engine, and it's overall body-weight was 800 pounds?
For that matter, how high of an altitude would it need to fly for better performance.

Then is it a viable power source for certain machines?

Is cold fusion safer than regular nuclear power? As in it's less likely to result in catastrophes on a Chernobyl-scale?

Okay, so 800 km/h really is more dangerous than I thought.
How about 600 km/h? Is that too fast?

If one is riding a motorcycle at almost 300 km/h they're still stuck to the bike because of gravity pushing them down into it.
What would happen if the bike was somehow exceeding 800 km/h? Would the rider be blown off? Crushed under the g-forces? What?

I omitted landing gear by mistake, sorry.
What if I took the basic hover wing design, shortened the wing span a bit, and made the engine more powerful?

Would it be okay to do a design like that, but make the wings shaped more like this?
I'd rather not use a design that looks like a bulky seagull. We wouldn't be able to race those together.

I was thinking 500 km/h because it's a small craft and might need a lot of power to get off the ground.
So how much should I lower the speed by?
0 -
Ah, thanks.
But why then why do jets fly faster at higher altitude?

It's about this vehicle I sketched, and how it would work as a real vehicle:
It's supposed to be a convergence between a motorcycle and an airplane.
I was thinking that it would utilize the ground effect for most of it's lift, while the rest of the lifting force would come from a small jet engine (Supposed to be able to reach 500 km/h in 0-3 seconds). It already has the control flaps as required of jet planes.
It's wingspan is supposed to be somewhere around 12-14 feet.
With these statistics in mind, how far above the ground would it get?

I'm talking about air speed actually.

No, I'm talking about something I heard related to air racing.

Do planes really fly faster when they fly at lower altitudes?

I have this sort of idea on how part of the vehicle technology in my show concept would work; keep the rider stuck to the vehicle at even the highest speeds.
It would be a technology that electronically manipulates atmospheric molecules so that they move around the rider and vehicle, and not into them.
Does that seem like it could happen in real life someday?

Would a hovercraft work on sand dunes?
