  1. Time as of yet is only what we make of it. Although we can measure time to miniscule lengths, it is still an entity that can be split an infinite amount if times, so short that something even on a quantum level may not even occur.
  2. Think of a black hole as water going down a plug hole. You can see that the rim of the hole is the event horizon, and the water as spacetime. If you were to place a pea near to this area in space, you would observe the pea orbiting in a spiral orbit, eventally past the point of no return. I first hear this analogy in a lecture, and has proven useful therof. I cab see why this was brought up, because gravity has still yet to be fully understood.
  3. It's the same principle as in that if we were to be visited by aliens, it would disprove at least 40% of the bible.
  4. You might need moments and/or some mechanics style related equations. Oh and you may also need to use angular momentum style equations.
  5. Orbiting a black hole at a safe speed for 10 years would mean that the time on earth would have passed a considerable amount more.
  6. Think about it. If this hard to find and possibly non-theoretical boson actually does exist, there is a pretty good chance that the almighty may perhaps be made out of these celestial objects. But how they manifest themselves in our lesser world is beyond me.
  7. It's simple. God is made out of God particles. Pity we haven't discovered them.
  8. I've been working on this worksheet for a while now, and things just aren't clicking in my head. Some help with some of the - in your opinion - hardest questions much obliged The image is quite large and the font is very small, but I'm sure you can make most of it out. The questions terminate at the end of question three, by the way.
  9. Names Latex (Dave IRL). I'm 16 and studying ALL the A-Level physics courses (Yes. All of them). Seem like a great forum and I'll come here to help and be helped, and I hope this community is active. Got some serious questions needing answers right here
