  1. Is this normal behavior for a person who is lying about the whole thing?

Yes. Instead of admitting he only has anecdotal evidence, he victimize his grandmother and appeals to pity. Caps is not cruise control for cool, and it doesn't make you more right.

If he was lying about this wouldn't he have just said he was lying instead of arguing and being defensive?

No. People are able to keep lying even when confronted.
  2. Please do tell how lying and deceiving a child to acquire personal gain will teach them to follow an honest moral compass?

Strawman. Also, completely missing the point. Again; wouldn't you be better off fighting the unjustices of true religion (mutilated children, child marriages, withholding medication due to religious reasons) rather than attacking a holiday in which children are getting gifts and people are more charitable than the rest of the year, regardless of motivation? It just seems like a giant waste of time and energy.
  3. Many people spread false faith in this supernatural being with transcendent powers known as Santa Claus.

Until Santaism causes as much grief and destruction as the major religions, our energy is better spent on fighting those than rob children of a reason to get gifts.
  4. No. Ignoring, for a moment, the impossibleness of SHC, the lack of tangible evidence, lack of doctor's reports and lack of photographs of the burns, and we're left with a Frank Baker who either doesn't exist, or is a liar.

Frank Baker faced death while earning two Purple Hearts in Vietnam, but the scariest moment of his life came in June 1995.

Edit: Also, the TV show this is from is an entertainment show, not a documentary show.

  5. If there's something there, which can only be found there, but can be brought back, that means it can also be relocated by other means.

Also, even if there was an item that could only be moved by this magical teleportation you suggest, it wouldn't be evidence of a god. It would, at the very best, be evidence of magical teleportations.

  6. For me, it's not about signs, it's about evidence.

As for your hypothetical scenario, it would be evidence of a strange event which would be interesting to investigate. God? Not really, as there are likely to be more plausible explanations.

All this assuming, of course, that there are evidence of me actually being at home to begin with, so I didn't just imagine it. Also, I'd have to be quite certain someone didn't plant the item without me knowing.

  7. So if gays know that it will hurt, but still go to the parade,it turns out that they are not only gay but masochists?this is a joke

Yes, it's a joke, but not the way you think. Or actually, the way you think is.

Are you honestly so morally corrupt that in the case of protestors attacking a gay pride parade, you blame the people in the parade for being out at all? You know, demonstrating for equal rights for everyone?

Yes,it is possible case of violence there, but very few of them

You really need to either learn English, or start spreading your propaganda on Russian sites instead. Because it's obvious you're not taking in a single thing that's been said here, and I suspect it's due to the language barrier.

Here in the times of Putin's you about 10-20 people who have been persecuted from 150 000 000 Russians

Do you also think it's okay with slaves, as long as there's only like 15 of them?

In the times of Joseph Stalin there was just killing everything at once, and all these your 10-20 people live, and live better than many

So what? Two wrongs don't make a right.
  8. Gay nobody hurts

if you tell that you're gay,it is unlikely that you someone insults you

    Read up.

Russian version, as far as I can tell: http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%9F%D1%80%D0%B5%D1%81%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%B4%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%B5_%D0%B3%D0%B5%D0%B5%D0%B2,_%D0%BB%D0%B5%D1%81%D0%B1%D0%B8%D1%8F%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%BA,_%D0%B1%D0%B8%D1%81%D0%B5%D0%BA%D1%81%D1%83%D0%B0%D0%BB%D0%BE%D0%B2_%D0%B8_%D1%82%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%BD%D1%81%D0%B3%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%B4%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B2

    but people against propaganda gay

there is no objective meaning,to arrange parade!

Let's have a parade football fans, or fans of beer

Then today we will parade lawyers, tomorrow will be a parade of programmers, after tomorrow the parade of masochist

There's a big difference between a gay pride parade and a programmers parade. Nobody is persecuting programmers because they are programmers. And nobody is throwing lawyers in jail for being lawyers (arguable, but still). So, I'd wager, for a lot of people, the parades are a way of bringing this persecution to light.

Sure, it would be great if they wouldn't need it, and would simply be able to live their own lifes. But as long as people are hurting and killing them because their sexual preference, that's not going to happen. One can argue whether a parade is the best way to do it, but something needs to be done, which is even more apparent because of your statements in this thread.

  9. Soak it in a bath consisting of water and a dishwasher tablet (this kind) for a few hours or through the night. Those things work magic with resistant stains on utensils and whatnot. Coffee mugs become crystal clear, for example.

No guarantees it'll work on ink, but at least I don't think it'll hurt the material.

  10. Personally, I'm pretty satisfied with your summary, so thank you. Naturally, to get the full picture one would probably have to dig deeper, but now we've got at least the basic idea.

Forgive me for questioning motives while going through the above, but is your reason to post this information solely that of spreading awareness of these events? Or is this something you'd like to have a discussion about - repression of science, threats against scientific journals etc?

  11. "Science isn't about determining who is right or wrong. It is learning from one's mistakes and making discoveries from such mistakes"(can't remember the exact quote, but it gets to the point).

That is a good point, except some people never seem to learn from their mistakes. I'm in strong agreement with ACG52.
  12. Take Plancks' Constant - c = h x f from Pythagoras/Angles of pentagram we get 432 (base frequency) 300000000/432 = 694444.44recur which just happens to be the radius of the sun.

    ...

Look at Jupiters radius - is it not the vacuum cleaner of the solar system with a radius of 69910

Your numbers are lacking units, and are also wrong.
  13.

Buying complete set-up defeats the object :) On the wind up side - I had started to consider that; maybe I should switch back

Sometimes, the journey really is the goal. I really think you should give it a go, just for the hell of it. That doesn't mean you can't use premades as a source of informationor inspiration.

But one thing; if you decide on a buzzer or horn, don't place it on your helmet unless you're sure it won't cause permanent hearing damage.
