In the book "Stowaway" when the captin was afriad that they might scurvy they had to eat sauerkraut and have a spoonful of viniger everyday to avoid getting scurvy. I guess they were wrong, or maybe it does something else?

The cold air pulls it out. the heat is taken away, but it dosen't go into the grapes, but into the air. That's how things get cold. ??

this is kinda off topic but does electricity go the speed of light? What else goes that speed? if anything.

Maybe it insulates? The heat given off the water when it's froaen will only be given to some thing that is colder than the water. So it wouldn't be very warm.

Why is that(about the train and the man) And about the light, it's relative to all observers, you mean everyone who can see it? Does it have to be a person? Or is it relative to all things? Thanks!

Okay, a man is in a train that is going 25 mph. If he runs at 5 mph in the train relative to the train he's going 5 mph. But relative to the earth he's going 30 mph (if he's running the same direction). So if light always goes the same speed, what is it relative to? If it's going the speed of light relative to the earth, then how fast is it going relative to the sun? or the other planets? How can we even classify speed at all? I'm confued, will someone talk some sence into me?

When things get cold what they are doing is losing heat. So when water freezes the heat just transfers into the freezer, becuase it's so cold. So when things get warm they gain heat, when they get cold they lose heat. Am I right?

Have you ever had scurvy? Your gums bleed and swell. You had to drink viniger. I read about it, on ships in the 1800's, but I still read about it. Yea, you wouldn't have the vitamins and minerals to live.
