    Yay, GUNS!

I see that you still have that mouse in your pocket when referring to "US", I presume? It makes me feel bad to think that the words of others can be misconstrued so quickly by you. Seriously, some folks scare the bejabbers out of me with their shoot from the hip and zealous inclination to condemn without question. Those with a tangible and cognizant understanding of principalss usually take just a moment to justify such findings, while you somehow seem to do it instantantly. So! all I can say is: "Bless Your Heart"!, That is, since most of us just aren't quite bright enough to make that distinction so quickly.
  3. The case of slant drilling was to some the reason Iraq invaded Kuwait, and is likely true. Also, it can be assumed our country instigated it by supplying such knowledge to the Kuwaitis. And whether it's a Shiekdom or Despots ruling a country, it's immaterial since freedom ain't worth nothing 'less it's free. And while generals are little different than Pvts. when it comes to orders, obeying his superiors was perfectly alright with me as long as Norms guns were trained on an enemy, not us here at home. I respected General Schwarzkopf for what I thought was his grit as a soldier and genius in warfare, along with his lack of political meddling. When he left the military there seemed to be little fanfare, and as I remember; even less, dabbling in politics. Picked this up in the A.M. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/12/27/gen-norman-schwarzkopf-who-led-coalition-forces-in-persian-gulf-war-dies/ R.I.P. brave and honorable soldier.

Why is it that when someone uses "mistrust of power" as several of us have done to describe our feelings of government, do some idiots take it literally to mean rebellion and/or overthrow of the structure? Again, I ask, Why? Then to envision howitzers, drones, A-bombs, anthrax, bushmasters and all dispicable means fitting into such diabolical methods, describing what we might use to get these foul an evil deeds done. WHOO-EE!!! Get real my friend. If such a scenario was used to describe most people in America today, there would be few politicians or attorneys left to walk the streets. And why! Because they would all be locked away for the wacky shit most of them epitomize. Believe me, I love the type of government we experience. Anything else would be exploratory or passe. As the old saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." At present and for the past two hundred years or so, we as a free nation of people have been allowed to elect our government officials as to our constitution decrees. I never want that process to change .A lot of squabbling yes, but elected they are.The beauty of it all is, If a majority don't like the way things are going, they wait a couple of years and alter it by voting the incumbents out. Am I happy with how government tactics are being used at the moment? Hell No! But when enough people don't like the status quo, change will come legitimately. So lighten up, bed wetters and war mongers. But just remember, when honest people express their convictions openly, they usually have little to hide. But be extremely wary and careful of those who only smile, use intellectual jargon, or say nothing at all.
  5. I'm not quite sure where you got the impression I was, or am a "little terrorist" wanting to destroy our government? In post # 89 I pretty much summed up my early life, upbringing and instincts. "Redneck all the way". There is no doubt Mom and Dad both loved me, but also no doubt either of them would have "turned my liver into mush", had I disgraced them. While I am missing a couple of teeth, have a twang in my voice, remember the Lords Prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance and never gotten farther than High School, 6 of my 7 children have. But since my oldest son decided to make a career of the Navy, to retire as a Master Chief after twenty two years, I digress of my slothful ways. If you can digest hard facts, here is a slight preamble about how to assess "Rednecks" http://voices.yahoo.com/whats-so-wrong-rednecks-487065.html Secondly, if you get to feeling dejected; go out and look at how simple people actually live. http://thecountryclassics.com/jukebox/music/americana-by-moe-bandy-revisited
  6. Some of you were likely only just born and in diapers when this man led the US Army and a cotingent of our allies to liberate the small nation of Kuwait from Saddam Hussain and his thugs from Iraq. This guy, even with his bravado, was a good and decent gentleman. . Our nation lost a great leader when General Norman Schwarzkopf passed from the scene at 78 years of age. “SEMPER FI” http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/12/27/16197379-desert-storm-commander-norman-schwarzkopf-dies-at-78

    Yay, GUNS!

Evidently you are referring to treason? Yes, that is the most despicable and heinous crime I can imagine. But it goes equally for a government as for its people..

Any belief that freedom and safety, based on fear tactics and supression; denies the claimant of both..

What's with the "Bushmaster? Is that a weapon or snake? And the K.P. thing, it was a bit of levity. But I'm sure that you are familiar of our own Civil War and Douglas McArthurs crush of the Veterans Bonus March in Washington, D.C. following WW1? God forbid happenings like those, ever again. But only a foolish and/or capricious person would think it could never happen again here in the United States. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonus_Army

If you have a military bckground at all, was it blindly relegated exclusively to K.P. duty?

But the Syrian people are paying a tremendous price at the moment because of a mad mans desire to use his power of supression to murder his own unarmed civilian population.
  12. There is information in the manual about what fuels to use in my 2009 including E-10, but nothing on E-15 or above. Isn't it a bit odd that the government just tossed this out to us with no information? But I did find tons of stuff on google. This one for instance. http://content.usatoday.com/communities/driveon/post/2012/05/e15-alcohol-wreck-engines-tests-dispute-epa-growth-energy/1

  14. I had absolutely no idea about the conditions facing an uninformed public on this matter. So, my question now is; How does a nation of this size cope with such an unknown? I don't want to sound ignorant or stupid, but how do I keep from wrecking the engine of my 2009 auto other than not using the E series?
  15. We have gotton totally away from good "Red Neck" answers to many of these problems. While they don't possess a total remedy for each and every case, they do bring a good likeness of sanity to the table for most. http://setup.rightwingamerica.com/index.php?topic=10863.0

Can we actually extrapolate a modern day need for guns as compared to 50 or a 100 years ago? http://setup.rightwingamerica.com/index.php?topic=10863.0
  17. Yea! Thought someone on the forum might know more about this new fuel than to simply ask another dumb assed question like I did. So, what's your take on the situation?

    Yay, GUNS!

To you, concerns for your sons lack of wellbeing can only be slightly different from that of our national debt and how we plan to solve it, My heart goes out to you, your wife and family. Personally, I would have likely been a basket case long before now. My very best. Quote by iNow: Agreed. I would also say that we need to move away from "locking them up," and instead find ways to treat them and help them as they are identified. Punishment does not ameliorate mental issues. Rehabilitation can. Unfortunately, healthcare in our nation has for too long been a privilege of the wealthy and often not available to those most in need. I especially liked your comments about Punishment and Rehabilitation. Face it, the lady was quite wealthy with a 1.5 million dollar home, all of the amenities to go with it, plus her guns and a deranged 20 year old. Tell me, unless you are the one without it; does wealth really matter?

If she could, I believe Mrs. Lanza would disagree with your latest statements most vehemently,
  20. I know this was put out by FOX NEWS, but even I question its authenticity. I've looked around but haven't found much on the issue. Perhaps some of you are much more up to date than myself? http://video.foxbusiness.com/v/2000862202001/
  21. If we really expected that to happen, then we screwed up royally with such lame excuses to explain the Benghazi debacle. Supposedly in early July of this year after Osama ben Laden's demise, rumor had it that Al Queida was also dead? Problem is, I simply can't find out who started that myth?
  22. Beauty of the situation was and is: thankfully, none of the nine who were shot by the policemen died. Some day we may find a way around this impass of sanity and insanity, causing such dilemma.
  23. Unfortunately many people assign themselves these ivory tower duties and never realize the harm they do. Dad probably aimed me toward adulthood life the best way that an otherwise uneducated miner knew how by saying: Son, you get in trouble with the law and the heat's on you. Better yet, don't ever call me to get you out of jail. 'causei If you're in there, I'll know soon enough as it is. You knock up some gal, "marry her", but don't bring her home until you have a job to support her and the baby. For those grains of wisdom I can only say: "Thanks Pop."
  24. So! You don't remember me stopping by to look in on you??
  25. Tar, you made this comment in post # 76. Quote: Never did build it, but my dream room, as my kids were growing up, was a playroom with a cushioned floor and cushioned walls, and cushioned steps/bleachers, with hinged tops where you could store the toys and such. The girls would be able to jump around and fall and throw things about, and there would be no sharp edges or hard surfaces to hurt them. Not to make light of the dream romper room you imagined for your kids and one that you likely could never afford, but isn't it rather strange that we provide these very same facilities at tremendous cost to the unbalanced folks in our mental institutions. Funny how life works, isn't it?
