  1. What I am looking for is a block diagram about how intelligence works. Not all the specifics. Like if you were telling a person how to drive a car. You wouldn't worry about all the specifics just the necessary elements. Key, Gas, Pedals, Steering etc. I am now studing Psychology and it is helping a bit but I have many disagreements and believe it is still at to deep a level. It is like trying to build a computer looking only at the electronic level of newest computers and how all the ones and zero's work. If you knew nothing about computers it would almost be impossible to understand and recreate. To fully understand it you need to understand the progression to get to it.
  2. Does point this out about chimps and other animals. It is my understanding that it is refering to this as behavioral learning. Intelligence and more specificly thought is only in the realm of humans. I believe it may be a semantic thing. He is using intelligence as something I don't The sentence he uses for thought is "The mind is presumably what people have that allows us to do what animals, vegetables, and minerals can't do. And what we can do that those other things can't do is think." This is the current chapter I am is the Cognitive Psychology: The Study of Thinking.
  3. Two book stores later and I got a book on psychology Demystified. Its a good basis of what I need. In case your a Psychologist or in training my one question so far is why they keep implying that animals do not have intelligence. It is only a human trait. Yet they talk about animals learning as in Pavlo's dogs and skinners rats. Do they not consider this intelligence.
  4. Being how big the cosmos is there is most certainly life on other planets and I would even say intelligent life. However again being how big it is we may never find it. It is much easier finding a pin in a haystack.
  5. Tomorrow for sure never comes as no matter how much or acurate my predicting is it will never be 100%. Yesterday, is real. My yesterday though is not the same as your yesterday but they are both real things. Our decisions today are made on our yesterdays. Science itself can only be proven with past results or yesterdays. The problem with yesterday is there is no way to prove that what happened actually happened. We all agree something happened but have differences of opinions on what it was.
  6. But I've been a member of Religious forums for over a year. They have a my Reply and my Threads button that allow you to easily follow your posts. Do you have such a thing I have been unable to find it. Thanks
  7. http://everything2.com/title/spin-polarized+hydrogen It seems to exist. I found several sites but only minimal information.
  8. Its hard to explain without drawings. Evolution happened with intelligence as well as everything else. I have pieced together 3 versions I believe exist. I believe I came across some scientist with simlar results. Simple intelligence External inputs feed directly to the sensors causing a reaction which spurs an action. Similar to a plant bending to light. intermediate intelligence External inputs feed directly to the sensors causing a reaction emotionally tagged information feeds into an organizational area which can also effect an action. Actions created can be picked up by the sensors again creating a feedback loop. Most animals Advanced intelligence. External inputs feed directly to the sensors causing a reaction emotionally tagged information feeds into an organizational area which can also effect an action. The organizational area has a direct loop back into the emotional area to spur an imediate change. There is also still the feed back loop of actions to sensors. Advanced animals Any information or direction would be helpful.
  9. I came across an article on Polarized Hydrogen on the internet but only one. I am curious if any one has any more information on it. What I read was that at very cold temperatures Hydrogen will spin at high rates polorize itself and emit energy. Does anyone know of any more studies concerning it or is it false.
  10. I am not interested in the firing of neurons or the chemical reactions. I am looking for any studies or information concerning the process of logical thought. I call it the program that runs the brain for lack of knowledge. Anything even in simple animals would be a help. I am also interested in learning about how imprinting works with the brain, sensors, and hormones if at all. Any and all help welcome.
  11. Am an amature ponderer. I have many questions and few answers. Hoping to get some direction. If I can help I will but don't hold your breath.
