Secondly,if there exists such a possiblity,then,if we consider the multiverse approach,can it be said that at least some of the universes have been through a wormhole,or,when we consider the QM ot the universe,don't we have to include this case also for calculating probablities wherever required?

How it so happens that a light beam traveling through a material with -ve index moves faster then 'c'?I read that 'it emerges before it enters'.What exactly does that mean?And finally,why it does not violate relativity or will a massless particle moving faster then 'c' violate relativity?Why?Whynot?also,what are the consequences(or assosiated phenomenans) of this faster then 'c' travel.

I beg to disagree.Try this with something that you can touch,something which is not very small,say a marble.See it through a magnifing glass.You will see it enlarged.Now,you try to touch it at it's boundry.What will happen.You won't feel the marble as edge is not actually there.(hope I make sense).Simillarly,if you see everything twice it's size,say a piller which is one feet long will look equal to two feet,but when you will try to touch it's top,there is no top as your hand is at 2 feet but pillar's top is at one feet.

(again hope that I make some sence).

 

Putting it more concretly,if a measurement is to be correct,then it has to be same with all the possible ways of measurement(based on the same standered).

As far as string theories are concerned,not many people are asking questions about it,but,one thing I can assure you of is that if you ask some,then people here will certainly be able to satisfy you(specially the physics experts)

Also,with people like klaynos and ajb and others and with the physics experts,I can safely say that we here have one of the best physics team that are out there.So,if you have any questions,just post them and enjoy the symphony of strings.

After reading the last few posts' date=' I've had a thought. Perhaps the predictive power of determining someone's personality is not as great as it seems, because, the nature of such is quite subjective and open to interpretation. There are a lot of things we can be, we have a lot of different emotions and feelings(soemtimes conflicting). For example an avatar is may exemplify the feelings, or just a small portion of a person at a specific time(when the avatar was attached more accurately), but these, like all other emotions and feelings, will change over time as well. I suppose what I'm getting at is, that despite the fact we can predict a lot of things with the info provided, we can only produce a limited picture out of the great plethora that makes up our personalities.

Umn...changing value of Pi.....The defination of Pi is given for the euclidian circles ie. the space is considered flat.So,the Pi has to be constant and is given as the ratio of circumfrance to the diameter in a flat space.(we are considering the euclidian geometry).But,there is an intresting point,although the Pi is a constant,but,its value has to be determined by experiment.Now,we should know that experiment is being performed on a curved space(as ours),so,the experimentally callculated value will change with the change in curvature.Hence,although the Pi is a constant,it's(calculated) value changes because of the experimental limitations.Well,at least this is what I think.

I use norton 2005.That is all.And sites.....any routine site like sometimes not a few pages of sfn(it will take to much time to download that even with a 256kbps connection),dataone.in(site of my service provider),sometimes google,results from google(they were lyric result,so,text only).That's all I visit.I don't know,but I can feel that the net connection is not behaving properly for quit some time(3 days).

hope it works gutz as I am not able to connect to blackcobalt.net(but then from last two days I have not been able to acces a lot of those sites which I used to.)And surprise!Nothing works including 6666
