A single brain cell can communicate with over 25,000 other cells at a time. A neanderthal's brain is larger than a modern human's. If the average man never trimmed his beard, it would grow over 30 feet in his lifetime. All of those were from a book called science trivia.
  6. I am highly interested in aerospace, but it is a topic that I can't see sparking a discussion.
  7. I know these have already been said, but how about a meteorology/earth science forum...

It was wierd, and kind of funny (at least to me), so I posted it. It's the same for C,D, ane E.
  10. Perhaps there can be another news forum. Only this time the news will not go to the front page, and will not have to be checked before posted. Also, it should only be science news. The main reason why I think this new news forum will benefit SFN is because there is so much news out there, and not enough of it is posted because it has to fit certain requirements to get to the front page (or a different reason. I don't know why).
  11. I agree with aguy2. A military science forum may be interesting. I would make posts about the robotic armies that will go into service in the next 35 years, or basically the technology that is being developed.

Another fact on amphibians: One of the smallest frogs in the world has the largest tadpole, it grows backwards!

If you have any interesting facts on science post them here! Here are some of my facts: You burn more calories eating celery than celery has in it. People that smoke a pack of cigarettes every day puts a halfcup of tar in his or her's lungs each year. I'll post more later.
