  2. I reckon the paper would rip before you got in the 8th or 9th folds...
  3. I have to say that I enjoyed Shaun of the Dead much more than Dawn of the Dead... Hillarious!! (Although probably even less science in it than Dawn of the Dead...)
  4. Sci-Fi / Romantic Comedy, but NOT the two combined in one movie
  5. Hi, Your post is quite old, so I don't know whether my answer will be of any help to you now. However, we use HA tags in our lab which are similar to His tags. We use the HA tag in conjunction with an anti-HA primary and fluorescent secondary antibodies all the time, with good results. You can basically expect the same sort of results you'd get with any other antibody to a cellular epitope. Some tags are small enough that they can be replicated within your gene construct without any adverse effect on your gene/protein function. In our case, the HA tag is repeated seven times. The amplification of the recognition site for the HA primary antibody allows us to detect the protein with greater sensitivity than an epitope that is present only once in the protein. Hope that makes sense
  6. Who could forget the Back to the Future movies!? Loved them... I also enjoyed Minority Report.
  7. It's Marmite NZ's 95th birthday this year! Happy Birthday Marmite (Although NZ Marmite is different from the UK Marmite that I think most of you guys are talking about)
  8. Hi, Tash here. I'm a BSc hons student from Auckland, NZ. Thought joining this forum would assist me in my mission to procrastinate and force myself to write my thesis in a horribly short amount of time... ...
