  1. You can offer it for sale here provided (1) you carry out any transaction processing elsewhere and (2) you act within the relevant legislation.

You will have to accept full responsibility for both the sale itself (i.e. providing what is offered for sale) and for the legality of the transaction (i.e. ensuring all applicable laws and regulations are complied with).

yes i have all that covered, what section should i put it in?

  2. Pretty sure you can just add the fields together. That would make it less than double the strength, because a point at the surface of the nearer magnet would be a magnet's-width distant from the far magnet.

This is something that it would be pretty easy to test, though, at least crudely, by for example seeing how much weight they can support.

that makes sense and thats what i was guessing would happen

and i will do the test once i get enough iron filings, these magnets are very strong so it takes a lot of iron to "max out" the magnet

  3. I have no clue about the legality or accordance with forum rules (trading chemical is not really the forum intent). But in any case you won't get as good reviews as Amazon.

those are awesome! best reviews ive read

I know the legalities of it, its an NRC exempt item and can be mailed through the mail as "ORM-D consumer commodity" it is not HAZMAT. so it can be shipped like any other package you just need to label ORM-D, you do have to include some paperwork inside that package showing the publication 52 regulations about the specific item and you have to mark the INSIDE package as radioactive, but your not allowed to mark it as radioactive on the outside

also i think you need to include a MSDS which i was going to do anyway

and there are no laws preventing ownership of small amounts

so do any mods have a view on this?

  4. well we have a lot of element collectors in the chem section and i recently got some U238 metal i can sell to the members since i dont need the entire amount i bought.

i just want to know if i can offer some up for sale on this forum or not

thanks''oh and i have all the shipping regs covered

  5. just a bit of advice, only have sex with someone you really care for. yes sex is fun either way but when its with someone you hardly know its not as good. but when you save it ONLY for those people that you love its amazing!

dont do it because someone want you to, but also dont hold on to that card for dear life, you should experience it with more then one person IMO

but also doing the other stuff is almost as fun, but nothing compares to that moment. laying next to a person that you just made love to and not wanting to be anywhere else is unexplainable.

so i say when the time comes go for it, but dont go out looking for it. the time will come and when it does you will know it, you cant rush it.

also if you havent done it yet get you HPV shots!

  6. does anyone have any

    Tellurium

    or

    Hafnium

    or

    boron

    to trade or sell?

i have lots extra elements to trade also just let me know what you need and maybe we can work something out.

i only need a gram or two of each

and yes i know there are companies that sell these but I would have to buy a lot more then i need, plus by trading with someone its a win win since both of use would be able to expand our element collection. so i figured i would try here first instead of buying it from a company

    no one? :-(

  7. We still get mercury thermometers here. Whenever someone wants mercury, they go ahead and buy a couple of thermometers.

Magnesium is extremely easy to get, we had lots in our school lab.

Where do you get Gallium and Indium ?

Does anyone have a pure sample of Arsenic ?

i have some arsenic to trade, also a little bit of gallium and indium i can part with

    i would prefer trades

    PM me

  8. well i read it before i saw the movies at of course at my GF request and i was hooked!

you can tell who hasent even attempted to read the books because they just say it sucks. How can you know that without reading it? the books are so much better then the movies, they doent even compare. and its not just a teenage thing either. I knoe several 40+ male adults that have read and liked the books.

they are good books. although i really hated the second book...god the way bella acted drove me freaking nuts in that book

  9. Well, dont they make those things you screw onto bottles that you pump to keep the pressure up so it doesnt gradulaly go flat. I dont imagine this would work though.

it helps since every time you open it and reclose it the soda has to build up pressure again untill it reaches equilibrium.

by building up the pressure first prevents the soda from doing it by itself.

but it will still go flat after a while

  10. Also, a lot of the "heat" generated during re-entry is due to compressing the atmospheric gas, rather than frictional heating. This temperature will do nasty things to a spaceship, sure, but it will disappear when the gas moves out of the way of the ship and is no longer compressed. In the end, you're just left with frictional heating, and any heating from the engines if they are used.

Actually getting enough ships to invade a planet seems rather unlikely, scifi or not.

i agree, think of all the heavy equipment are military has/needs for a battle. you would need a LOT of ships in order to transport enough people and then equipment....were talking thousands apon thousands of ships.

the only effective way to wage a battle would be from space IMO

  11. ok so i have a question....

so lets say you have a tube of marbles that is 1 light year long filled to capacity with marbles... you push one more in and that cases the one at the end to fall out.

couldnt you thoreticly pass info like this in a binary code type of thing where a 1 in a mrble falling out and a 0 is no marbles fallng out. So since it would take light 1 year to get there it seems at least thoreticly possible to transmit info faster then light since the marble at the end would fall out long before the light actually got there.

of course this isnt even close to possible but it does make me wonder.
