i dont know what people you guys have been talking to, but i havent talked to a single person who was happy with the help before hand or even up to today as a matter of fact. and the news and media of all types are reporting this, i live in a backwoods southern illinois town and even the racist people, that you all know that is found in a community like mine, are upset with the response and fully think that it is because of a race thing. i mean look at how fast we had thousands of volunteers in place when nyc and d.c. where hit, thats cause you had big business and high ranking government hit, but what is in new orleans, how does rushing to help them help out bush or the people of big business???? hahaha kanye west said it perfectly.... look up what he said on the nbc special.......

i agree, people here are just so fustrated and aggravated we dont know what to think or who to support (this is a generalization please dont flame me for that statement, i know this isnt true for everybody)

ohhh and p.s. if i didnt have to drive 15 miles to school everyday or drive my mother to the hospital 3 times a week i wouldnt buy gas and sorry to inform you, but not everybody just has money layin around to just up and go buy a hybrid car.

ok, im not comin from the point of view of what has happened with the hurricane, or am i comin from the point of view on how prices are regulated, plain and simple somebody is cashing in and taking advantage of the fact that gas is a commodity, i think that yes the government needs to re-introduce the gas price ceiling and make a statement that the u.s. people are unhappy with the prices.(while many people might say "but what about 1979? we dont want that again!!) i think that it would send a message to these oil companies to back off. but wait a sec, that would hurt our presidents pocket, so i guess that isnt gonna happen. basicly all i know is that i have been back home (back in the states) for 5 months and in that 5 months gas prices have went up over a full dollar...... i dunno, but to me it sounds like something currupt is going on somewhere...thats just one pi**ed off citizens opinion.

before i go anyfurther, let me openly admit that i dont have a full understanding of the "web" or "internet", but i found a link to what i think what my friend was talking about... http://css.its.psu.edu/news/nlsp00/newinternet.html , from just the lil bit that im able to piece together it seems like it is a new "infrastructure" but the way i read what is on that link and what my friend was tellin me is that its gonna be a replacement for both the "web" and "internet". i need to make my buddy sign up for this forum so he can type better to yall, what he tells me... lol (if that made sence). but he was also sayin with this new "internet" that security, speed, amounts of data, and basicly every aspect of the "web" or "internet" as we know it now will be greatly increased. p.s. sorry if i make any of yall mad with my ignorance on this subject.

hmm, just throwing in a lil something... i've heard somewhere that the www. is gonna be being replaced with a "new" internet that is alot faster and more reliable, i forget exactly what it was being called. anyone else know about this, or was i just being fed a bunch of bs??
