Need Help With Fictitious Virus.
Hello. My name is Michael Panetta and I'm a science fiction writer. (If you read Analog Science Fiction And Fact, you may have seen my work in the current issue.) Anyway, I've created a fictitious virus that will act as a backdrop to a story, and I and am seeking someone to look over my notes about this virus and to tell me if there are any egregious errors. I would also like suggestions on a realistic name for the virus. I prefer to have this discussion over private message, so please message if you are interested in helping. I can't offer monetary compensation for your time because magazines don't really pay well, but if / when this story is published in a magazine, I will be sure to credit you. Kindly appreciated.

It's unfortunate that society still considers suicide and assisted euthanasia a "bad thing."

Need help from any math people here with special relativity.
An object is going to travel 1,207 light years. It accelerates at a steady rate until the halfway point, where it reaches its maximum velocity of 18.75% of light speed, before starting to slow down at the same rate at which it accelerated. Once the object reaches its destination, how much time will have passed for the object and how much time will have passed for a stationary observer? Thank you.

One of the papers I linked to shows how, after one year of hormone treatment, the transgender women still maintain a 9% competitive advantage over other women.

Don't get passive aggressive. Hypotheticals are important to discuss. But if you don't wish to discuss hypotheticals, then let's stick with the basic question: Do transgender women have a competitive advantage over other female athletes? The answer seems to be yes. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9331831/ https://bjsm.bmj.com/content/55/11/577 https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s40279-020-01389-3

So you're saying that Mike Tyson isn't human, or that this scenario isn't within the realm of discussion, or that a man with large muscle mass can't possibly identify as female?

Why can`t one sense god?
It's not arbitrary. I know when I'm hungry and where my fingers are. Those are two kinds of senses.

Why can`t one sense god?
There are about two dozen.

Why can`t one sense god?
All I was responding to is the erroneous claim that there are only five senses. Great. I agree. I was only correcting the belief that there are only five senses.

Why can`t one sense god?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sense So you're saying that your sense of propioception is a delusion? Or a bat's echolocation is a delusion?

Why can`t one sense god?
If I knew that, I wouldn't be an atheist.

Why can`t one sense god?
There are more than five senses.
