  1. thats odd.... My stats professor has her degrees on the wall, and they all say "Bachelor of Arts Psychology" "Masters of Arts Psychology" and I dont know what her doctorate says, but I know it has the field.
  2. alright cool, thanks however, Im disappointed that I will not get 2 separate degrees. but on the diploma it would say: "BS in Psychology" and under that "BS in Sociology" ?
  3. What do you find the most interesting? For me, I enjoy/ am most interested in: Social Psych, Memory, and IO Psych (although I wont be able to take the IO Psych class until next fall! )
  4. I dont think there is a correlation - maybe a small one - but there would be a certain limit to brain size. I remember watching a program and it mentioned this, that if our brains were larger, it would not increase intelligence, as the neurons would take longer to reach their destination.
  5. ah true, forgot about those! but then again, Im not too worried about those just yet - as I have plenty of time for research (which I will do Junior year) and recommendations. and the degree would be relevant, because I plan on going into Social or IO Psych. - but even if it wont bolster my chances, I still think I'll go for it. In anycase, thanks for your input - I just wanted to see if 2 majors would help, more than someone with just 1.
  6. While I didnt read the article (yet), I'll say that meditation may have similar properties as sleep - i.e. rest is good for the brain.
  7. Is it? Currently Im majoring in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. I was thinking however, getting a major in Sociology as well would be beneficiary - although it may take an extra semester. (Currently Im a 1st semester Sophomore). Just wondering what you thought. I'll probably go through with it, but as far as grad school is concerned, will it help a lot? for example, if it was between me and someone else, and it looked like this: Kid - Major in Psych, minor in Soc. 3.8gpa. Me: Major in Psych and Soc. 3.2gpa Still think they would take me over the other guy (even though he has a higher gpa)? thanks

    Search Term Help

Hello, thank you, I'll use those terms. I found "infidelity" as well because I found an article with that name in the title, lol. and you reminded me about google scholar, thanks for that too!
  10. Hello there. Im writing a paper for my Psychology of Sexuality class, about Extradyadic sex. Ive found 2 sources, but I need at least 2 more. Im looking for psychology journals. I have the ability to search through a database of journals, but I cant seem to find articles Im looking for. and when I do type in "Extradyadic" or "Extramarital" I'll get a few things that arent related to what Im going to write about. Im writing about why women and men may become involved in extramarital affairs. I need some search ideas. Also, if I could find some information on "Key Parties" or a "Key Party" that would be good too - because Im going to mention that as well. thanks
  11. well... aside from what everyone else said, Six cents 35c Four Dollars 12 Cents $0.68 if we add those up we get: 521 cents

    Random Question

I was always wondering... is there a term for a Hand doctor, or Hand surgeon?
  14. one game I have: Triopoly (http://www.grandmaspoils.com/triopoly.html) Its like monopoly, but its more difficult, as there are various levels and such.
  15. plus if you chose "Mig" it'd be too close to my user name. which is my initials.
  16. where do we sign up Capt? also, I dont think you replied to my last email.
  17. ^ you mentioned reading books. and if your University is like mine, or many others, you'll have access of many scholarly journals as well - so you can read those too
  18. interesting. I'd try that once. "So, you still an athiest?" response: "yes, are you still Christian?" see what happens.
  19. not really on topic - but where's the link to do the equations in that text.
  20. I think the main idea is that you need a force to bump part of the chain into the gravitational field below the plane.(?)
  21. not true. It varies by state. here in AZ, at 16 you have the choice to continue HS or dropout. other states have required 18/High School Graduate (or equivalent)
  22. I was thinking just that. the number of Extremist Christians or Muslims probably outnumber ALL of the Jews (whether they be very religious to holiday-religious). this is also true, and I've found this amazing. While those who follow Judiasm (on any scale) only number in the few millions, and comes out to only 2% (or so) of the entire world - it still seems to be a "mainstream" religion (i.e everyone knows about it) Then again, I also think that the Holocaust played a big role in that. well, enough ramblings from me. lol
  23. its easy to mistake buildings and get the wrong information during such panic.
  24. ^ that made me think Next time you find those horrible wasps. catch one (inside 2 cups) and put him in the microwave!
