  1. Peroxide is some how dangerous. Yes there are ionic reactions.
  2. On Jupiter there is not the same condition like on the sun. Hydrogen needs a very high temperature and pressure to do fusion reaction. A comet also don't have that energy. Regarding the produce of organic material it need the condition like on our planet. And some spirit of god.
  3. In mass you can use the ratio 1:1 because 2 mol NH4Cl (2 * 52,5g = 105 g) and 1 mole Na2CO3 (106 g) can react. But I think easier would be to buy ammonium bi carbonate. NH4HCO3 called Salt of Hartshorn. Its a baking salt, this smells automatically of ammonia.
  4. Solid Helium https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helium
  5. All is a matter of temperature and pressure. Mercury can also be solid, lquid and vapour. Every element or compound can be like this.
  6. In vapour state you have single atoms, they dont have much connection each other and so they also not conductive anymore.
  7. Probanbly the ion diameter and soloubility. Mg<Ca<Sr Calcium is in the midle, if a substitution with Mg takes place increasing if a substitution with Sr takes place decreasing temperature.
  8. Hahaha, funny picture. I am wondering how looks like your high power frequency coil.
  9. What should this device do. In the drawing the air goes through a pipe into water. The coil is outside the funnel. What is the light blue colour, also air?
  10. Build a device and try it. But I dont beleave, it will work. If it would work it would already be invenrted.
  11. But this is for low scale not for a commercial production of nitric acid. ,Now using also electrical fields not only magnetic ones. But it ended up by the already mentioned Birkeland-Eyde process. By using high current sparks to ionize the nitrogen to get it burned by oxygen.
  12. But here it is not the case, here it was talking about to seperate Oxygen from nitrogen in the air by using a magnet. Even maybe oxygen will be influenced, how big should the magnet be? Later it should get nitric acid. This is total nonsense. Sorry to say that.
  13. I dont think so you can separate oxygen and nitrogen by an magetic field. Because the magnetic field will not have any influence on the molecules. Magnetic field has only influence on ferromagnetic material like, iron , nickel, cobalt, gadolinium, samarium and some special alloys.
  14. As powder it would only react by give some initial power like fire, spark to it. A kind of gun powder. In aqueous solution the reaction also could be quick.
  15. Ascrobic acid is a strong reducer, Nitrate a oxidiser. There will be a reaction. Magnesium sulfate will not react with each of them.
  16. You need a reducer to do so, Iodate can be reduced by sulfurdioxide, of course also by iodide. In your equations you create iodide and this would react according your suggestion. The end is iodine in both cases. By the way spectator ions like K+ can be taken out.
  17. The first one is not possible, because sulfuric acid, hydogeniodide, and hydoxide cannot existing side by side. It will be neutralized. Equation 2 and 3 are the same, because in aqueous solution we have ions and not specific salts. K2SO4 + H2SO4 => 2 KHSO4 => 2 K+ + 2 H+ + SO42- But also this will not happen, because in the description they use starch indicater, what means iodine will be developed. 2 IO3- + 6 H+ + 6 e- => I2 + 3 H2O and SO2 + 2 H2O => SO42- + 4 H+ + 4 e-
  18. The problem is it is a redox reaction. KI is already reduced so your first equation can not work. SO2 is oxidised to sulfuric acid, so you need a oxidiser. Only iodine can do it. In the discription of the method they mentionen the yuse KIO3 Set the rod in the corresponding hole from the back and turn it clockwise, later set the nut clip. Place a 25 mL burette in the burette support. with . Place the glass tubes in the rack and put one stirrer magnet inside them. Connect the power voltage feeder and press . The leds will shine on indicating current in the instrument. will remain . Fill it Titration Liquid (Potassium Iodate N/128
  19. It is a polarization voltage. It is not the voltage given by platinium and silver. It is like an elctrolysis.
  20. You cannot make sodium oxalate by reacting barium carbonate with oxalic acid. How you want convert barium to sodium? Some fission process? If it is a mistyping.then its possible to use barium carbonate for it. The reason is the carbondioxide will evaporate. BaCO3 + HOOCCOOH => BaC2O4 + H2O + CO2
