  1. For the fuel to combust in the cylinder there needs to be oxygen which also creates rust so the inside is certainly not a vacuum.
  2. velocity in meters per second and mass in kilograms gives you energy in joules.
  3. Short answer: C is invariant. This basically means that the speed of light is the same in all reference frames.
  4. I remember when I was young I tried this "experiment" I held an outdoor thermometer up to a bulb in a lamp and ended up with broken glass all over.
  5. Freeman, one kid tried to do that. The government raided his tool shed and basically stuffed it into radiation containment barrels. Read about the stupid boyscout. (I forget the actual thread name)

  9. Well, the first part kind of made me laugh. I thought it was a lemur or something making baby noises. I actually was kind of creeped out after that when it was sitting in the wheelchair making those weird noises. And when it turned into a music video until the end I was like eh, this is kind of dumb.
  10. Note that there is already a thread on this and there is an entire forum dedicated to help on this challenge.
  11. Okay let's stay on topic and away from the linux fanboy thing. I was just having fun. Dak, I have no idea what your blue dragon thing is, it just reminded me of some kind of pokemon or something- as for the old thing, I was just assuming you're older than 12. By the way, what is the dragon thing?

  13. Ok let me give this a shot: Dak is way too old to like pokemon yourdad is a newly converted linux fanboy with 1337 pa1nt sk1llz Bettina's avatar.... my best guess is that it's from one of those movies with creepy kids... ya know like The Grudge or Sixth Sense... I have no idea. Me, just like the Beasties and CBA to upload a custom avatar. Okay, so maybe I'd be better at reading palms or something than analyzing avatar's.

  15. Actually, hyperbolic trig functions are defined by exponentials. I forget the actual definitions but I can look them up.
  16. Are you a scottish girl? Okay I'm done.
  17. Haha Robotochan You probably don't want anything to do with Neopoints. But if you're really curious check out http://www.neopets.com/ This question is under games > puzzle > Lenny's conundrum. Every week there is a new puzzle and people like mister Ryan here go to scientific and math forums crying out for help with homework or disguising the question as curiosity.
  18. If I had a band I'd name it ctrl-alt-del that be t3h pwnage
