  1. English is a difficult language ya know. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) If you can, try watching t.v news stations with subtitles on. You can follow along hearing and reading. The subtitles really help, and when I was trying to perfect my Spanish I turned to a mexican news station. Where do you live Chriss? Perhaps colleges in your country have English as a class option.
  2. The the human mind is an interesting thing. The the brain is highly developed, and the the human body has gone through many changes to support the the brain. When the the brain is reading sentences, it tends to skim and fill in the the blanks. I am certain that most of you did not notice the the double 'the's in the sentences. Have a good day! :)

That's not how you do it. One is supposed to be at the end of one line of text and the other one at the beginning of the next line. I noticed it too, not all of them though.

The famous example is written over 3 lines in a triangle - Paris in the spring:

      Paris

      in the

      the Spring

I didn't notice any of the double the's, for what it's worth.

  3. In an evolutionary standpoint, religion may become obsolete when our frontal lobes are no more (or 'not the same as they are now'). It does not necessarily mean that our frontal lobes will dissapear all together, but the area of the brain will evolve differently rendering our knowledge or existence of religion obsolete/unable to grasp the concept of having a higher being above us. Our cognitive definition of religion may not be the same in the future. Of course this is just a 'may' scenario, but possibly true. Our frontal lobes do control cognitive processes, and any alter to its structure may change the way we are.
  4. Invest money in an agricultural field. There will always be a need for ag, so it may look promising to an investor.
  5. http://www.doralacademyprep.org/ourpages/auto/2016/4/2/44580505/Myers%2010th%20edition.pdf Starting at page 368, intelligence is being discussed. As to OPs original question, MENSA is an option. Ironically, mensa (menso) in Spanish means dumb. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
  6. My psych professor always said knowledge is power, and ignorance is powerlessness. Something along those lines.
  7. Still confused as to what 9/11 had to do with the leap year of 2000. I was a tiny child when both happened.
  8. Balding? Gray hair? I sense capitalism around the corner.
  9. Ghosts aren't real, but bats are!

  10. It appears that your attached filed has become unattached.
  11. Craving a breakfeast burrito; eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, with melted cheese. YUM

  12. "People don't need religion anymore because their lives are too easy. The standard of living has gone up." - My history teacher. What do you guys think? The status update thing whatever was locked. I should have started this as a new thread instead. Anyways, what do you guys think? I would like to hear (or rather read) your opinions.
  13. From what I know about Monsanto. -They are an agricultural firm. -Soy beans That is all. They use GMO's and like any other agricultural firm, they want to yield the maximum amount of crop each year. So they use pesticeds and what-not.
  14. There will always be homophobic people, some of them will stay quite, but there will be others who will speak their voice. There certainly shouldn't be any of that kind of talk here on these forums.
  15. Maybe do a paper about the origin of the word Ascorbic Acid.
  16. "People don't need religion anymore because their lives are too easy. The standard of living has gone up." - My history teacher. What do you guys think?

  17. Was circumcision just so that they couldn't wank off later in life? Couldn't find a different way to ask the question so I just put it there straight forward.
  18. I’m going to talk about (Awkward introduction) the notion of Spaces and Exchanges. This notion represents a very broad concept , it related to the various ways of moving all transportation (synonym) around the world. These Exchanges can be of various kinds for instances diverse such as cultural, economics economical, or the movement of people. We will see the example of In this paper, I will investigate the British Asian community, and I’ll try to show how explain how the British Indian Colonization lead led to many exchanges and modifications of the space* between theses two civilizations. I did my best. I am not the best in writing papers, but I quite enjoy reviewing them and fixing simple mistakes. Forgive me in advanced if there are any errors in my review.w *What does this space mean? Do you mean the physical distance between Great Britain and India, or the cultural distance between them?
