Not really. I am old enough to be your father (or maybe grandfather!) and have almost no formal qualifications beyond a couple of college-level diplomas.

 

 

Most projects are. That doesn't seem relevant to patentability. Although it suggests you will need a team with all the right skills to develop the product.

I am expressing that I am respective or I would be respective & great scientist. this means it will not be important whom I am being speaking&contacting. in my opinion every people are important & estimable as equal as me. and this will not be changed in the future. this is principle.

but I remember; although I am contacting successfully withj some good official associations (like harvard , some journals,and native english friends.) ,you have complaint three times from language. then I asked the first question. , you may see me I am speaking with ajb or other frieng more politely. because I know he has over MSc degree and this generally requires studying hard. But be sure that I am also studying hard , and think please anyone who would be at harvard will not be happy due to taking some expresions over only one times. I think I can understand generally at one time.

I agree with Strange here... it is not clear what you are really asking and if you indeed have somthing that one can take a patent out on.

 

We don't want details and don't expect you to give any, but can we assume as Strange says, that you have some project to develop some invention that has potential commercial value? You may not have a final product in your hand, but you have some new technology that you would like a patent on before fully developing the product?

I apologise if I missed something that you imply I did do it incorrectly.

sample project like I implied (in the past):

you know ultrasound device(US).if you think its efficacies in medicine ,then you will not think that it seems commercial.(it is implied before invention)

but if you consider its sale (convenient improvement in electric-electronic engineering), of course you will think it is commercial.

then -->> this sample is the most convenient and may make it more clear simply which kinfd of study I would do.

additional comment:

I do not believe that our (all) degrees would show genuine/intelligence. this may show only the rate of how much (hard) we are studying. and also this is not the certitude. because quality is not same at every universiteis

If you are thinking of his thousands of experiments to find the best light bulb filament as an example then you could file a patent for the concept before completing all of that research. As long as you have proved that the basic technology works.

 

You could then file another patent for the best version(s) of the technology when the research is completed. Manufacturers are constantly filing new patents for improvements to their products.

You have not demonstrated that it works ... I am not sure what the rules are exactly here. However, the patent officers must have good reason to think that the device will work as claimed.

 

You should also be aware, that patents are expensive; the patent offices do not enforce the law - you have to do that and pay; the advice is to use a specialist attorney; other options maybe better for you such as a confidentiality agreements (to keep trade secrets) and trade marks.

What sort of projects are you talking about? Are we still talking about patents? Most patents are not specifically scientific. They are more likely to be technology based.

 

I can't really think of something purely scientific that could be patented. Theories and discoveries cannot be patented. Only the application of them can be patented. Patents were originally intended to protect "devices" or things that could be manufactured. Some countries later extended this to software. But in many jurisdictions software is not patentable (by itself).

Yes, patents are issued by governments. In the case if the USA they are managed through the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

 

I think you are very unlikely to get a response to a casual enquiry. They are very busy - it is hard enough to get a response to a formal application! If they do respond, it could take months.

really I do not agree this idea. because when I thought/talked about contacting with harvard ,everyone said to me the same opinion. but this were not true.

I have taken 3-4 letter totally from that schoold. the last one was 2 week ago. and it was telling me that office was not evaluating projects,too.and they reccommended me to contact based so particular considerations with other convenient office in the list they written in the content of that last e-mail,via choosing one of them. (the first one was harvard GSE , this was incorrectness of me , but GSE already reccommended me to contact with gsas , and gsas's offer was/is above.)

however , I have sent my project's abstract to ecancermedicalscience journall's editor due to her request. but when she asked me that she would learn if I had any else question, I had asked her whether it would be possible to publish our scientific projects at the journals to protect them. then she replied ; some journals might have some protocols for this.but also she added that journals were not publishing project outlines.

Things are more internet based that ever before. Youtube could be an easy way to get some attention. After that, you may need to be more professional and seek recording contract. But for now, why not just pay to make a few good recordings and put them on youtube?

( I think)I have created a new style in (popular) music.and I believe my voice is special and great. but as you see all these are subjective. to be objective these needs to be certified (by any music publishing association)

but I am unsure whether it would be possible to do it under one rule below (this is one of my principles)

of course ,this is relevant to payment. these days I have too strict economic problems . but I am sure that I have highly creative personality. really I am unsure whether using the music will make me gain money,too. thats why already everyone prefer using internet to reach everytype of music.

if I be successfull ,then I would take interest with my scientific studies. I am sure this is not required listening someone (other sceintists/professors) in order to learn new things (scientific). her/his written material will be enough. but here is too strict economic problems ,I should solve them at first. and I would try to do something by my own to gain money before applying somewhere (like funds,charities)

I actually do not need information that had already been explained related websites.however it would be good to give emphasis the reason of my aim via trying to take patent from U.S. that's why I actually do not wish to remain somewhere which it would be quite difficult to explain only opinions ,I would feel deeply free to show my creative aspect of personality effectively.

according to my existing knowledge,i think this would be the best to prefer being at U.S.A ,otherwise I already think that the most effective and (akmost) unique parameter would be relevant ECONOMY to do/create something great in science.this means it will not be so effective in which university for learning/studying/WORKING at real. and I would notify you that this point had been released/sent to harvard/gsas at the content of my first project.and our communication is still being continued with harvard.(this university does not already care/depend the something ordinary,I am sure they are looking for something extraordinary! ..)

all in all I do not wish to offer my studies to turkish patent institutes now. and exactly need someones who have had experience on this subject.note please ; if you experienced at least anytime ,I predict repeatedly that it would be worthwhile Sharing your knowledge with us.

I request from the scientists whoes had (already) taken patent or who have been trying this to tell us steps ,requirements (not general requitrements implied ,general requirements have already been explained on their websites ) I can simply mean ; people who live the real events know more clearly everything related incident that he/she lived. therefore ,although the basic requirements have alredy been explained ,there would be probably existed else and different/(containinin some particular) information relevant to those researchers e-mails' contacting results.)

please help (us) new scientists how to take PATENT.

I think there are some problems and these makes more difficult to find/explore something and also to use efficacies of them.

for instance , we always may accept/(assume) studying at region which has no friction.

but this is not so easy to create it. and in my opinion ; differences between the acceptance(assumption) and reality frequently cause troubles.I am sure this criterion will change the results too much effectively.

I have been studying for scientific projects for a a half of years. my the first project is almost ready. I am trying to take patent. I am mathematician.I think it would/may be probable/possible to solve such catastrophic diseases (such as :cancer,tetanus ,smallpox, ..etc) via supporting their treatments with cryptologic studies. but realy I am unsure whether it would be well worth or not ,here are my logical reasons to say this;

*** currently I am MSc student at mathematics. but I have break for a while (quitted) and I do not want to continue. I am sure ,I can learn something by my own.I do not need someone to tell me for learning ,mainly it is being enough written materials.probably I am different because of this aspect

*** I have had too much economic problems in whole of my life,and I do not know how I can solve it now. some of my friends say that I need to find fundings. I am from turkey ,I don't know this offer's content. is it true? may I take help at real? (I need these , silent and suited temperatured remaining place, and healthy feeds. I am not extravagant and I do not like doing harmful strange things (such as drinking bear,smoking. or spending times with spare/unintelligiable things.etc.) I am social. and hardworking. sometimes I am able to study constantly 8 times in a day without no having break.

I have not expressed any doubt about the fundamental theorems of calculus.

O.K. I accept this expresion that you have not had any problem with that theorem. I think I am expert of basic analysis. and just because of this,fundamental theorem is basic, I relied on again.

I am just saying that a proof of the second theorem exists based on Riemann integrals, at least for functions that have a well defined Riemann integral. I say no more and no less.

I think I have already explained relevant to statement given in bigger size. but please do not think that you are giving me unrest , I really do not feel matter anytime because of scientific conversations especially sometimes in mathematics there exist some details whiches seem unimportant ,but they are not unimportant.(if you have any doubts whethr fundamental theorem is correct or not, then I recommend that you check the related subjects repeatedly how required to best undertand) I also allege that in my opinion the details are the most important things in mathematics,I think we closely can/should use it as a modelling.or we should use its efficacy via studying cryptologic.but of course it will require to study hard and getting hard to take the best from our systematized results
