I give up.

What convinced you that the God you were praying to was an imaginary being?

If they are going to become a human, then logically they can't be one yet. So they are not human life.
A conscious human being.
My personal definition of human life is when the diploid genome forms. When your genome formed, your life began. That genetic program is you.

The sense in which it has been proved that math isn't logic is (to put things as briefly as possible) this: You can't program a computer to spit out all and only the truths of number theory.

The scientific community generally agrees that the start of human life is at fertilization of the secondary oocyte.
https://www.princeton.edu/~prolife/articles/embryoquotes2.html
This is logical as your unique DNA is formed and the zygote will eventually proceed to become a conscious human being. Sperm and an egg will never develop into a human being.
Even prominent atheists agree:

Religions, did start with the intention to explain our world; history has since shown that explanation to be false.

Are you suffering from the online disinhibition effect? Or have you encountered people who are?
Wikipedia :
"The online disinhibition effect is a loosening (or complete abandonment) of social restrictions and inhibitions that would otherwise be present in normal face-to-face interaction during interactions with others on the Internet. This effect is caused by many factors, including dissociative anonymity, invisibility, asynchronicity, solipsistic introjection, dissociative imagination, and minimization of authority."
Example of youtube quotes:
Thgerasd," after watching this video, I have come to the conclusion that you are still fat".
What's wrong with humans on the Internet?

Will this do? There does seem to be an inverse correlation between wealth and religiosity from this:
Wow.

Einstein answered this question a lpng time ago.

Philosophy tells you "who" you are, science tells you "what" you are and you tell yourself "why" you are. Nauture is god and science thy bible.
They are my favourite dennet quotes, dont quote me on them though.
I don't know "why" I am.

Especially in poor and impoverish communities where despair is a common emotion. To who does the weak minded and impoverished go when facing constant unhappiness? Faith in God for a better future is the only hope these people have. The secular community consists mainly middle and upper class people. None of whom face the daily challenges of the lower class. They have no idea what hardship these people face and rarely willing to help.Building on MigL's comments, I am always amazed and a little saddened, by those critics of religion who fail to acknowledge the vital role that religion played for millenia in helping foster unity within societies. I don't doubt that it also contributed to enmity between societies, but arguably those societies would not have grown in the first place without the moral structure and common world view created by religion.
Please note, I am building on MigL's comments, not asserting that he will necessarily agree with mine.

Can we ?
Can we ? Can we ?
Pretty please ?
Yes, we can have a history forum.

Are we below you?
I haven't studied the topic.

If you clone someone, the clone will have an aged genome. More technically, the clone will have a shortened telomere. This would pose significant problems for the clone.
Cloning humans is not worth doing for many reasons. Genetic diversity is very important for a species.
Btw, monozygotic twins are clones. Epigenetic changes throughout twin's lives will make them somewhat different.

I think this question was articulated and answered more than 200 years ago by mathematicians and logicians.
If you were really interested in this topic you would pick up books on calculus, algebra and logic.

Got it.
However, some people have postulated that a universe can come from nothing (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Universe_from_Nothing). So, your premise may be wrong.

I don't get the math.

I don't understand the grammar of your question. Why would you say that god is illogical? Could you explain further?
Certain physicists have postulated that something can come from nothing.

HIV is virus that incorporates its genome into your genome. In essence, HIV becomes part of you as does many other proviruses. To cure HIV, its genome has to be removed from the infected cells. Molecular tools have been developed and discovered to remove specific DNA sequences from the Genome. One of these tools are called CRISPR.
Clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat (CRISPR) technology, a microbial defense system, has been developed based on its remarkable ability to bring the endonuclease Cas9 to specific locations within complex genomes by a short RNA, to precisely edit the genome, to build toolkits for synthetic biology, and to monitor DNA in live cells. In the last 2 years, over 325 articles have been published on CRISPR-Cas9 applications. This Nucleus portal highlights recent research in CRISPR and the wide-ranging applications of this technology
For decades, scientists have worked to repair or replace genes in people with genetic diseases. But their tools often simply were not up to the task. Viruses that deliver therapeutic genes to human genomes do so at random locations, which could inadvertently block essential genes or activate genes that lead to cancer. More recently, scientists have developed proteins known as zinc finger nucleases and Talens that insert DNA specifically, but they are cumbersome and expensive to engineer. For these reasons, precise gene engineering in higher organisms has been extraordinarily difficult.
How long before we can precisely edit our genomes?

This is a very important statements, religion is an opiate and a crutch.I am not religious by any means ( although raised Roman Catholic since I was born in Italy ) and have no need for it, But some people do, as it gives their lives purpose and guidance.

People fear the unknown and its most common derivative; change as an often unwelcome and perceived unnatural occurrence
Right
These people are unnatural. The natural progression of the human species is towards the singularity.

Um, you played a computer game, i.e. a water-ed down simulation, so that makes it a complete possibility? Really?
I challenge you or anyone to say otherwise. My enthusiasm for it was enhanced by the video game, but it's not the foundation of my thoughts on the matter. NASA and other private space companies are just waiting to terraform Mars(http://quest.nasa.gov/mars/background/terra.html).

Our own continued existence as a species is why. We are becoming too big for the pond and the more there is of us the more we need to tiptoe carefully.
I don't know about you, but I live in a universe that is billions of light years in size. Let's terraform Mars or some other planet. I just finished playing mass effect, it's completely possibility. We could build a citadel like the Protheans.

Yeah, I think there's just too many of us now to think that we can assert our individual desires on our immediate environments and expect nature to absorb it and recycle our efforts when we are done.
Exactly
But why should we care about nature. It is completely indifferent to our existence. Let's acknowledged nature, that's all.
