    VIH Vaccin

Hi there! I've seen an add this morning. It was get vaccined against VIH to help research. What I understang is we're guinea-pig. Is there anyone knowing more about that? I'm kind of ok with that but I wanted to ask you how high the risk is ? Because the VIH vaccine was really hard to create, I really wonder. It's done here by a small french society called Biosantech. But all what I can find is some articles telling things like "It's a really new initiative, uncommon way to work for the research" but not much about the product and its efficiency !
  4. When living in Paris, you need to manage things up if you want to see the sky. Sun eruptions were great as they could be seen from anywhere. I've also read this article which gives some tips (it's a real mag, the chapter is called "What can (or can't) be seen from the city?"). But i'd like to go further. Is there cities observers here having some hacks to share ? And also, knowing the next big sky events that could be seen from the city ? (At least I'll be up for the Leonid Meteor Shower !)
  5. Watched the event ! Really impressive ! Though, NASA did a great communication job, everyone felt so involved in Philae's landing ! Quite disapointed 67P was so hard ! I heard it had shallow density, wich would have made Philae drowning into the comet ! Now there's big problems with Philae. Because of its rebounds, it landed in a not a good place where it cannot get enough light to live for a longtime. Also, it makes its communications with Rosae longer and harder. Drilling can't be done yet as Philae's harpoons did not fire ! Hope they'll fix it. It would be so bad be can't have needed infos ! @Pantheory : why isn't it a typical variety ? (I thought they were only "young kind" and "old kind" of comets!)
  6. Hi there ! I Eve, 24yo. I have a background in arts and literature but I am now a science communicator. I'm trying to develop a scientific dynamic in my city, and I do help for some synthetic biologic project. I'm also a very curious and busy student. Nice to meet you all !
