    Hi, I am Alkonis, a senior undergraduate in physics, with research in computational particle physics / astrophysics and observational galactic astronomy. Also a Goldwater scholar (along wtih a lot of other fancy-sounding awards that don't really mean much). Here mostly just to lurk and maybe chime in on some physics topics.
