  1. Thanks for all of your reponses. I'll probably end up taking chemistry because the teacher is supposed to be amazing. Thanks!
  2. My next year of high school (also my senior year) I get to choose to take chemistry or physics. My question is which will teach me more practical knowledge about how things work? The obvious answer would be to take which ever I'm more interested in, but I'm curious as to you guy's opinions. Sorry if this question is extremely general, keep in mind I'm asking for your opinion, not a 100% fact based comparison. Thanks!
  3. -Very- much appreciated. Recently my interest in this sort of thing (not sure what term to use exactly) has been reignited and I've been looking for things to google in order to find more information.
  4. I'm extremely interested in these sort of concepts as well (using thoughts, words and other similar triggers to change your behaviors or state of mind). I've read some on neurolinguistic programming but it seems to be considered a psuedoscience.
  5. I've heard more grey matter has something to do with it... don't quote me on that : P google away, though!
  6. After quite a bit more reading I think I understand the production process a bit better.. And thanks for clarifying the $65 trillion thing, it seemed like way to big of a number to have been spent on anti-matter research. I'll have to read up more though...
  7. I was reading an article about anti-matter and I understand how it works and the difficulties in containing it. But the article also said it cost around 65 trillion dollars per gram. Why is this? I can see the machines costing that much but after you have it why is each gram so much? Does it cost 65 trillion in electricity? Thanks.
