They are not allowed to talk, and they can not move their heads. The wall has no reflective surfaces or holes. They are told that they will die unless one of them correctly shouts the colour hat they are wearing within 10minutes. After 1 minute one of them calls out. …

i went with my friend and his wife to the coffee shop. the coffee was brought when my friend's wife was in the wash room. it was steaming hot while the milk was cold.we mixed the coffee and milk and started drinking. (considering the fact that i prefer my coffee without milk, take this case as an exception.) now, i wanted to keep the coffee and milk mixed for his wife but my friend said it would be better to keep it separate till she came back as it would be hotter if it was mixed after she came than it were mixed right then. who is right?

This is taken from a puzzle book. I used to have 750 marbles in my bedroom but I lost some. The number of marbles remaining is one more than a multiple of three, three more than a multiple of five, five more than a multiple of seven, and seven more than a multiple of eleven. How many marbles did I lose?

I just thought that I would post some puzzles. These are pretty easy ones, but they are nice to get the brain cells ticking for a few moments. If anyone else has any Puzzles, please post them in this thread, and then I will add them to this Opening Post. If the thread is popular enough, I will split it later into a "Puzzles" and a "solutions to puzzles" thread to make for easier reading. (1) You have in front of you a balance scale and 18 apparently indentical coins. One of these coins is a forgery although it looks exactly like the other 17 coins: the only difference is that the fake coin weighs less than the normal coins. Your task is to sift out the coin in the lea…

Some of you may have seen this before, but for those who haven't this is supposedly a puzzle written by Einstein, and he supposedly predicted that 98% of people wouldn't be able to figure it out. I seriously doubt that Einstein is the actual author of this puzzle, and I expect Snopes.com to debunk this claim someday, but nevertheless the puzzle is a decent one, so here goes:
