I am literally clueless about this question.. the only thing I understand is the rate at which motor works implies power . And its rising at steady speed .so maybe the kinematic eq will come in handy.... how do I get started

the efficiency of a buffer in resisting changes in pH upon addition of base or acid is referred to as the buffer capacity. one way to define this quantity, which we shall call B, is B=dx/dpH, where x is the number of moles of base added to weak acid. Note that the HH equation may be rewritten as pH=pKa+ log (x/A0-x) where A0 is the total concentration of acid. obtain an expression for B, in terms of A0 and the fraction of acid titrated, f, where f=x/A0. hint: it's easiest to determine dpH/dx and take the reciprocal this is problem 14 in ch 2 of biochemistry ed. 4 the correct answer is B=(A0/2.303)f(1-f) I thought the answer was just to take the pH formula and u…

A 3.50 kg ball with a velocity of 10.00 m/s collides with a stationary ball with a mass of 5.00 kg. After the collision, the first ball travels at a 42.6 degree angle from its original path, while the second ball travels at a -26.7 degree angle from the other ball's original path. 1) What is the momentum of each ball after the collision? 2) What is the velocity of each ball after the collision?

My approach for this question is.. The disp time graph will give us the speed .. the speed will give us kinetic energy 0.5mv^2 . Now the disp time starts with a negative displacement. ..the particle at that point will have a gradient (speed) negative . .. but in the k.e eq the sped gets squared .. therefore the first kinetic energy must be positive having some value.... crossing part B AND D which start from zero.... now how do I chose from A AND C.... if my thoughtprocess is correct ...

In these kinda questions my teacher taught me whenever the galavanometer shows zero current the voltage frm both batteries must be cancelling out .. I.e the emf of above and down battery both is same .... clearly the ans is B .. BUT what I wana know is how do the voltage gets cancelled? Thats not possible right a tiny charge carrying energy on it how can the energy disappear?

I said since the external resistance is increasing . The overalll current in circuit must decrease bcz R=V/I. ...the external resistance is increased and the current is decreased ... the voltage be same as the increase and decrease cancels out (maybe) ... part A cancelled .. PART B cant be right instinct... Which leaves me with C and D AND I.DNT UNDERSTAND BOTH OF THEM

Hi Guys/Girls I require your help or assistance with the following Thermodynamics Assignment. I have a few ideas however my solutions are incomplete. The assignment questions can be seen below in the image. I have attempted questions 2 and 3 and would like to know if I'm correct / along the right path. My solution __________ 2) With reference to the question about the compressor I've taken 100% efficiency to mean , fully reversible. assumptions : steady state and adiabatic. I've assumed that air is an ideal gas throughout the compressor. change in entropy = 0 change in entropy of an ideal gas = 0 ( to calc the exit temperature of the compre…

Greetings to everyone, I am currently a HS senior following a program where I have to study independently at home and attend school for tests and exams, and I also have a limited opportunity to interact with the teachers. My Maths teacher, specifically, is very reluctant to respond to my questions via e-mail, as well as I do not have anyone else to ask for guidance regarding some calculus problems. Of course, I do not mean to offend my Maths teacher, it is just the way it is and I must find a way to perfect my knowledge without it. Some of the problems surpass HS level Maths and are not required for examinations, so I am unable to find guidance through the books I have …
