Watched the event ! Really impressive !
Though, NASA did a great communication job, everyone felt so involved in Philae's landing !

Quite disapointed 67P was so hard ! I heard it had shallow density, wich would have made Philae drowning into the comet !

Now there's big problems with Philae. Because of its rebounds, it landed in a not a good place where it cannot get enough light to live for a longtime. Also, it makes its communications with Rosae longer and harder.

Drilling can't be done yet as Philae's harpoons did not fire !

Hope they'll fix it. It would be so bad be can't have needed infos !

@Pantheory : why isn't it a typical variety ? (I thought they were only "young kind" and "old kind" of comets!)

I have heard on regular network tv reports of a "sound" like a warbley melotron, but there was no indication of what that really means. I presume it is a radio signal, and emitted from interactions of the outgassing, but nothing further on how this sound was picked up...

This thread is about Rosetta - not about meteor impact on earth. Stop going off-topic. Do not respond to this moderation in the thread. Everyone back to Rosetta and Philae please.
